Hello,
My name is Alain.
From a very young age I have always had a desire to be a writer. However, like what happens to so many of us, there was always a circumstance or excuse that got in the way and prevented me from pursuing that desire. At the time of choosing a career, I chose the safe option of management. I spent many years in various disciplines in middle and senior corporate management. One day I woke up and decided that I no longer wanted to be in the Corporate business world and resigned from my job. This prompted me to study further in Journalism and Media studies. My desire to write was further heightened when my very first study assignment was published in a popular magazine.
However, it is only after spending two years teaching English in South Korea that I have now decided to seriously pursue this desire. For me this is not about whether I have any talent or not, but rather about fulfilling my desire to write. Contained on these electronic pages is my ongoing contribution towards fulfilling that desire.
